Bruker - ESCMID XR | Case Study Funix

Project Overview

Trilogy of interactive Virtual and Mixed Reality experiences created for Bruker's exhibition booth across three consecutive editions of the international ESCMID congress: Barcelona 2024, Vienna 2025, and Munich 2026. Each edition featured a bespoke immersive concept themed around the host city and Bruker's diagnostic solutions:
• Barcelona 2024: an evocative courtyard inspired by Gaudí's architecture showcasing Bruker instruments through glowing particle flows;
• Vienna 2025: a theatrical opera opening where visitors tap the conductor's baton to orchestrate the journey into an advanced diagnostic laboratory;
• Munich 2026: an intricate 3D reconstruction of Marienplatz's historic Glockenspiel featuring animated scientists, interactive hand tracking, and Bruker's Infection Control and IR Biotyper® solutions.
