Palazzo Rosso Genoa - Phaethon Hall

Project Overview

Interactive WebGL web experience that digitally reconstructs and revives the Phaethon Hall (Salone di Fetonte) of the Strada Nuova Museums at Palazzo Rosso in Genoa. Based on 3D photogrammetric scans of the architectural space, we reconstructed the spectacular ceiling fresco by Domenico Piola, destroyed in World War II. Through a smooth scroll-driven navigation (ScrollMuseum), users can explore the lost masterpiece, examine intricate details, and access curated historical and artistic insights.
